Standardized Evaluation Framework

The FleetSage Driver Evaluation reports use the established CSA 7 BASICs framework to categorize violations. All incidents across Canada and the United States are mapped to the BASIC categories allowing for easy analysis of driver performance. Demerit points are aggregated per category and for each driver.

Integrated Crash Predictor Model

Each violation within the FleetSage Driver Evaluation reports is assigned an ATRI Crash Prediction likelihood, making standardized risk assessment even easier. The ATRI Crash Predictor Model statistically quantifies the likelihood of future crash involvement based on specific truck driving behaviors (e.g. prior crashes, violations and convictions). This well established measure can serve as a guide to driver hiring and training practices, minimizing safety risks and making safety a first concern.

Coaching Audit Trail

What is the min/max fleet size FleetSage will allow?

There is no limitation on fleet size within FleetSage. FleetSage cost scales with the size of your Fleet; meaning FleetSage is accessible to the smallest of fleets and can scale to handle the largest of fleets.

Is FleetSage a cloud-only service or can it also run on-premise?

FleetSage is designed to run in the cloud, on-premise or as a hybrid of both environments. On-premise is only available to larger enterprises. Send us an email to learn more info@fleetsage.com

When I'm uploading sensitive documents, where are they stored?

Uploaded documents are encrypted at rest and in-transit to our datacenters. If you have specific security guidelines within your organization, our software is designed to be flexbile to provide a security solution for you.

Which jurisdictions do you cover?

FleetSage currently processes Canadian CVDR and CVOR records, covering carriers registered in the province of Ontario. We are working on expanding coverage to other provinces. In addition, we process CSA2010 and PSP records, covering the U.S. Federal system.

Is this a standardized evaluation methodology?

FleetSage maps violations to the well established Behavior Analysis and Safety Improvement Categories (BASICs) framework designed by FMCSA for their Safety Management System (SMS). We have harmonized the Canadian defect codes to the FMCSA violations, making aggregation easier. In addition, violation codes are assigned an American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) Crash Model likelihood; a renowned source for risk assessment. The ATRI Crash Predictor Model has been adopted by some of the largest insurance companies in North America.

How does pricing work?

We calculate a monthly fee based on the number of Active Drivers utilized within your FleetSage account.
